This would be cool given the charitable deduction reforms this year and charitable deductions being something people can directly control.
I mimicked it by selecting real estate tax paid and adjusting the policy parameters to match the charitable deduction policy (remove SALT cap, change AGI % cap for SALT to 60%). https://www.compute.studio/PSLmodels/Tax-Cruncher/409/

It's poorly named, but the "Mortgage" option in that dropdown comprises charitable contributions and other itemizable expenses that are not subject to the SALT. I'll clean that up in the documentation/labels.
As for implementing the recent reforms, that's something for the Tax-Calc community (including myself) to discuss on the developers call tomorrow.
