Siren after Disconnect or Connection Lost (SP5500/IP150+) #445
-
Hello, I tried to test it using BabyWare (V5.6.28), and I encountered the same issue where clicking "Disconnect" resulted in the activation of the alarm. Is it normal behavior, or something is wrong with my configuration? I'm using Paradox SP5500 (v7.14) with IP150+ (v5.6). |

Hello again, Just a quick update - I fixed the issue a while ago. After some investigation, I discovered the root cause – one of my motion sensors was tampered with due to a misaligned pin inside the device. This tamper condition caused the siren to always trigger immediately after leaving setup mode. After addressing the issue with the motion sensor and fixing the pin alignment, everything is back to normal, and my system is working perfectly. For anyone experiencing similar issues: don’t forget to check for tamper conditions within your system components. |
