Give the user the option to convolve a section of the image instead of the whole image.

This ticket is ambitious for v0.4.0, there is a lot of thought that needs to go into this, for example:

How should the user define the convolution box? It seems like the same way we define the oversample region should be good.
The convolution should happen after the oversampling step.
It should be possible to define multiple convolution boxes (oversampling boxes as well for that matter).

This ticket is adding a new feature so it should not hold up v0.4.0, therefore I am taking it out of the milestone.
