I was able to get the Western Digital SN530 to partially work. From a fresh reboot/power cycle it boots fine. If you reboot the PI from the terminal the SSD will not be detected. Are you able to reproduce this?
The exact SSD model number is WD IX SN530 SDBPTPZ-256G-X running the latest firmware 2412T000.
I've tried configuring the PCIe for Gen 2 and Gen 3.
