@martinholmer thank you for filing this issue. Quick question beforehand, was there anything changes in the TAXSIM Maryland model that causes the integration issue? This seemed to pass before Aside for this, the difference here is caused by the Maryland EITC computation. Aside for this, the difference here is caused by the Maryland EITC computation.
For what I see, TAXSIM computes 50% of the federal EITC which is the non-refundable match percentage.
I am unsure why this is, looking at the following tables from the instructions:
In this computation, the result is 0 which leads to the refundable EITC computation:
Which should result in a 45% match of the federal EITC
In this case:
Federal EITC: $6,728
Maryland EITC:
TAXSIM: $3,364 - 50%
PE: $3,027.6 - 45%
