APCA is a fairly new and better way to calculate colour contrast. It will be introduced as the way to check in WCAG 3.0 but other tools such as Stark have started implementing a toggle so can check both WCAG conformance contrast and APCA.

Hi @Pushedskydiver & @jimbateson
I like this tool, I think it has the potential to work well with APCA. If you have any questions or would like any assistance in incorporating APCA as an option, please don't hesitate to reach out.

It is available via NPM: npm i apca-w3

The Github repo.

A brief overview: Why APCA?

Hey @Myndex 👋

Thank you for your comment. I am defo going to implement this feature using the npm package you have shared. I want to apologise for how long it's taken me to respond to this. I am finally in a position where I can spend some dedicated time to this tool 🙌
