I plan to support Android and maybe also iOS. This should include iPads as well.

I wil have a look at it and decide if and when I can implement this.

This issue now is for Android only. It will be done first as it is easier. But I should have some basics for the iOS version then as well. The iOS support is tracked in a separate issue: #236

It is too big to be ready for 1.4 but definitely a candidate for 1.5.
