This is very niche, but I'm using this mod with Stellar View via Sinytra Connector (and this works flawlessly with it, btw), and that mod makes the moon move independently of the sun instead of being directly opposite the sun like in vanilla. Because of this, the moonlight illuminating the clouds at night is detached from the position of the moon. Ideally, these would be in sync somehow. Given that this is a cross-modloader interaction, I assume direct support is difficult, so maybe something that would allow another script/mod/shader to control the position of the lighting would make more sense.
I think the moon moves at a different speed than the sun, so merely separating sun/moon angle wouldn't be sufficient, although it would be a good start.
