• 2 things backed up - Dataverse and Infra components
• Infra components are compressed in an archive
• In s3 - we have four copies each week (they expire after 3 days)
• The bucket size is 50gb
• What we were sending to ICT (writing out from S3) was all four backups
• Seba changed this so that for infra backups we just archive 1 copy (representing one day rather than all four days)

QDR S3 Bucket

• Total bucket size looks like its almost 1TB
• But the actual size is more like 50gb
• Seba set new rules to expire old versions after 4 days -

Next week

• we should see Sunday write out and bill go down significantly
• Coupled with Amazon back up and ICT - we have a pretty robust disaster recovery set up ...
