This concept needs to be defined somewhere -- at minimum, at least once before the strong law of large numbers, which uses the IID concept without defining it.

@jstac do you think we should setup: glossary.quantecon.org or concepts.quantecon.org

then we can start adding these terms and topics that can be linked to?

@longye-tian and @SylviaZhaooo I propose that we add a lectures/glossary.md file and add IID definition to that document. We can then start linking to the glossary internally -- and once it get's big enough we will move to a global project that can serve all of quantecon lecture sites.

Hi Matt @mmcky ,

That sounds a good idea! What do you think we should include in the glossary?
And I'm wondering how do we distinguish our glossary from Wikipedia links?

Best,
Longye

The only entry so far in the glossary would be IID but it will be a place to host explanations of terms and concepts. If the wikipedia entry is suitable -- we should use that in preference to adding something to the glossary.
