[Build 2024091900-4.3] Wrong colors in qube settings #9457
Comments
https://openqa.qubes-os.org/tests/112961#investigation shows a packages diff. This may be related to QT5 update from 5.15.14 to 5.15.15. There is also (IMO less likely) Mesa 24.2.0 -> 24.2.2. |
I can not reproduce this on real hardware with the mentioned versions. Does it happen to both emulated and real hardware on openQA tests? |
I see it only on virtualized, and also not all of them. But the sample size is rather small... |
Failures linked to this issue so far:
|
Note to self: |
someone else has a very similar problem: https://forum.qt.io/topic/145923/qt6-on-ubuntu-22-04-strange-widget-behavior/2 |
This looks to be very similar to https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/issues/11827 and https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/issues/11839 (discussion continuing on https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/issues/11840#note_2572386). Yet another symptom of some regression in a recent Mesa update (the other one: #9389, #9479) |
Observation
openQA test in scenario qubesos-4.3-pull-requests-x86_64-system_tests_gui_interactive@64bit fails in
simple_gui_apps
Colors in VM settings are weird. Selection bar is orange instead of blue and cancel icon is blue instead of red.
Test suite description
Reproducible
Fails since (at least) Build 2024091804-4.3
It seems to fail this way sometimes, VM settings window is used in several tests, and not all of them have this issue.
Expected result
Last good: 2024091400-4.3 (or more recent)
Further details
Always latest result in this scenario: latest
