Qubes OS release

atleast 4.2 and 4.2.3 (not sure if it affects earlier versions as i'm using it since 4.1)

Brief summary

Nearly every time i update to a newer Qubes release, the GUI seems to break for me. Meaning that the dom0 window borders are gone and all windows attach to the top left corner. The Network-Manager widget also not appears when it happens. I can temporarily solve it by opening the dom0 teminal entering 'xfwm4' and then suspending the system and waking it up again. I can provide a pic if needed. When i enter 'xfwm4' into the terminal it says something about 'session manager not connected'.

Steps to reproduce

I only updated it and it seems to happen randomly.

Expected behavior

GUI should be loading

Actual behavior

GUI is crashing
