Ditch the button?

The submit button is helpful while users are still trying to understand how the device works, and what happens while they touch it. The flip side to that is that many entries will never be submitted. Maybe this should be a setting, but I also want the software to be consistent so if another joystation is ever encountered the user will have accurate muscle memory.
