maintained by the
<a href="https://www.hdm-stuttgart.de/remex">research group REMEX</a>
at Stuttgart Media University (<span lang="de">Hochschule der Medien</span>).
The repositories or software projects have been grouped under a few headings,
even though they sometimes originate from different research projects,
student projects, etcetera.

<h2 id="ui-personalisation">User Interface Personalisation</h2>
<h3>ASpanel</h3>
<p>The <a href="https://github.com/REMEXLabs/ASpanel">ASpanel</a>
or Accessibility Support Panel is a component that can be built into
webpages to allow users to adapt certain aspects of the site to their needs.
This panel is mainly used in the
<a href="#olb">online banking simulation</a> mentioned below.

<p><a href="https://github.com/REMEXLabs/gwc-chrome"><abbr>GPII</abbr> website connector for Chrome</a>
(gwc-chrome) is a browser extension for Chrome that enables a web application to
communicate with the
<a href="https://wiki.gpii.net/w/Architecture_Overview#Flow_Manager"><abbr>GPII</abbr>'s local Flow Manager</a>.

<h3><abbr title="Accessible Web Components">AWC</abbr></h3>
<p><a href="https://github.com/REMEXLabs/AWC">Adaptive Web Components Framework (<abbr>AWC</abbr>)</a>.
Deployed at <a href="http://darwin.gpii.eu/">darwin.gpii.eu</a>; requires Google Chrome.
</p>
<p>This work is based on the World Wide Web Consortium's work on
<a href="https://github.com/w3c/webcomponents">web components</a>,
which is still work in progress.
Google Chrome has the most advanved implementation of web components;
