Thanks for joining us at our latest community meeting! Here’s a recap of what we discussed:

• Meco shared plans to add a security vulnerability report button on GitHub and detailed the process for reporting vulnerabilities.
• We should take advantage of the Summer of Open Source to create video tutorials for RTT beginners. These tutorials will include quizzes to help reinforce learning and get developers up to speed quickly.- [Wang Zhuoran], some details have been mentioned:

1. Discussed the need to assign someone to take charge of this project and ensure it’s well-planned and executed.
2. Make sure our beginners have the necessary resources to master the basics.
3. Talked about ways to improve our current kernel-related videos by adding feedback mechanisms and possibly even integrating them into our documentation.
4. YANG YANG could join this part to make the videos as he’s talented.
5. Software packages should be included in the videos.
6. Tools like vs code/env/studio should be included in the videos.

• RT-Thread & LVGL Collaboration. This discussion has been postponed until the next meeting. Armink & Cathy

1. Meco will be recording videos showcasing RT-Thread on Squareline Studio.

• Bernard updated us on the progress of the RT-Thread on the VSCode program, a new vs code plug-in will be executed soon.
• Updated on some exciting developments in the main repository, including DFS v2.0 and Device Driver v2.0.
• Clear and detail the PR Label on PR discussions on GitHub.

Next Actions:

• Next Community Meeting is scheduled for May 21st.
• Let’s ramp up our promotional efforts for the Summer of Open Source to encourage more students to join us. Don’t forget to set up WeChat groups for mentors and mentees to connect and collaborate.
