Can't resolve 'react/addons'

I tried to import { DropdownInput } from 'react-dropdown-input';

and I got the error Module not found: Can't resolve 'react/addons' in '.../node_modules/react-dropdown-input'

Been looking at this problem myself and it looks like react-select might be a good alternative third party component filling the same role.
