Please add an option to set a minimum package threshold below which notification is not shown. It's very distracting having to see updates notifications all the time. Setting a larger check period is not enough, first because there is a limit of 2000 minutes, second because the notification is triggered by pacman usages.

If you do not care about updating right when an update is available, do you know you can disable notifications ?
You can also have the number of updates shown next to the indicator, it won't distract you.

Sorry, I think I was not clear enough. I meant to hide the indicator, not to suppress notifications. Quite like "don't show when there are zero updates" but "don't show when there are less than N updates".
