I'm acquiring my XL experiments on a VelosPRO system. I'm acquiring the LC-MSMS using both HCD and CID, the latter on the LIT (low res). I noticed the Cofig settings are set to ppm. Can a -Da- values be placed there instead (say, 0.65 Da)? or alternatively, is there a maximum ppm allowed?
Thanks again!
Alex

Yes Da settings are ok as well. But xiSearch has some optimizations for high-resolution spectra. So I would suspect you get worse results for the LIT spectra. I would suggest to search these separately from the high-resolution spectra.
Actually depending on the speed of the low-resolution acquisition the increased number of acquired spectra might offset the worse quality.
