Suggestion - Save Metadata to Layout

Is it possible to save the metadata to the session? You have to upload the edge metadata each time you load a layout or revisit submission session. Can this metadata be saved so one doesn't have to upload it each time?

It's difficult to share the webpage with a colleague when they need to import another file each time they want to view the session.

Please let me know if there is already a mechanism to accomplish this ability. Thank you.
