Lian Li Fans not responding #2859
Comments
Are you using the Lianli plugin? I believe the fans react too slowly for the automatic calibration process to work properly. They should work still. |
I was unsure of how to use the Liam li plugin

How/where are these fans plugged, and into what motherboard? |
I have the gigabyte b650 gaming x ax v2 motherboard. And the fan power,
along with the AIO fan power is connected to the ARGB fan control board,
which is powered by sata and then plug into the SYS FANS 2 port on the
motherboard.

Oh, the fan hub might only report its RPM but don't take the PWM command from the header. Either it runs of the 12V all the time, so no fancontrol, or it takes the PWM command from SYS2, so you'll only get 1 control card for all fans plugged into the hub. |
Ok, thanks for the clarification.

How do I install the Lian Li plugin. Will this allow me to apply a curve to my case fans or will it remain the same. |
I have Lian Li ST120 RGB fans and I downloaded Fan Control with hopes I was able to control the fan speeds of my case fans. I am able to control my Lian Li Galahad Trinity 240mm, and my GPU fans. When I go to test/calibrate the fans, they respond by changing speeds, but once they are calibrated and I go to manually change the speed, they give an inaccurate rpm and don't change (speed). I'm not sure if my fans just aren't compatible of if they are wired incorrectly, but this is my first build and I've only had it about a week.
