OMEMO encrypted messages are not logged to MAM, not send with CC, or not send at all #28

Either OMEMO encrypted messages are not actually being send, or they are not send with CC to my other devices, or they are not being logged to MAM. The symptom I observe is that on Conversations on my phone I cannot see the messages I sent with Profanity+OMEMO, but I can see the unencrypted messages fine.

Profanity 0.5.1, OMEMO plugin 8e2b0e3 (v0.1.1 was broken, see #25)

Can you elaborate a bit more on this please? Is it like....

Bob (profanity) -> Alice (Conversations)

Expected:
And in the Conversations chat with Alice: Bob sent ... "My Message"

Alice (Profanity+OMEMO *, Conversations, KTP) -> Bob (Conversations), * being the program sending the message.

I would expect to see the message appear in the chat log on Alice's (i.e. the sender's) Conversations, as it supports both MAM and CC, so it should receive the message either way.

I tested that with Profanity+OMEMO and Conversations on the other side and it worked for me when all devices were connected at the same time. I need to investigate in regards to MAM, but afaik profanity does not yet support MAM.

Were your devices all connected at the same time?

Hi. It seems there has been no more activity on this issue in a while.

If it helps, as of late I can confirm that encrypted messages are sent with Carbon Copy

I'm wondering what is missing for OMEMO enabled multi device synchronisation to work.
