Note: I used Alcohol 120% to make images of game disks back in the day so I could play games without needing to insert the disk, so rather than digging through boxes in closets to find the disk I'm just using my old Alcohol image that I know used to work the last time I played the game (10+ years ago).
When launching the game (in compatibility mode with Windows XP SP2) the shim loads, but the game displays an error asking me to insert the correct DVD-ROM.
This is a bug with Alcohol virtual drive that causes disc check to fail in newer SafeDisc versions. There's a workaround for this in this pending pull request #16.
