Crispy Doom supports masterlevels.wad, which contains the Master Levels and comes from the PSN edition of the game. It would be great if Russian Doom supported it as well (besides loading the single map files separately).

It can be manually compiled by downloading this patcher from Doomworld and placing all Master Levels wads into the same directory before executing the included batch/cmd file. Doing so will recreate the original file with these checksums.

Level arrangement can be found on the Doom Wiki ("PSN Slot" tab in "Level progression").

The wad itself only contains the maps plus graphics lumps for the level titles. No dehacked file or anything else to tell the game when to use MAP07 specials (Tag 666, needed for maps 14+15), automap level names, sky gfx replacements, music definitions etc, so this is something the port would have to provide.

Hello, @NightFright2k19 👋

Looks interesting, thanks! I'll take a look sooner or later, maybe it will be the one and only way to play through them all.

The PSN map order seems a bit random at places, spreading the works of the authors instead of keeping them grouped, but at least it's some sort of official arrangement and allows you to keep your weapons between levels.

I don't know how the music is arranged here since if you follow the original mappings, it would be the dreaded D_RUNNIN festival which sucks especially in an episode. I am sure there are ways to find out how it's supposed to be in this particular compilation.

When in doubt, you can always consult the Crispy Doom author to find out how it was implemented there.
