That name is likely pulled from the HID report descriptor sent from the device. Luckily the device name is not used when enumerating devices in DS4Windows like it can be in other software. |

Sure, doesn't seem to affect functionality. Could be easier to differentiate from ds4 if any software use that name for something. Wonder if dualsense edge got the same name after the 0356 update or has edge on its name. |

Hi. Just paired after updating firmware to 0356.
And Windows now show "DualSense Wireless Controller" Instead of "Wireless Controller"
Not sure if this is a windows thing, don't think so.
Also don't think it will have any major or minor changes to emulating software, but maybe they started thinking a little more on PC gaming.
Could cause some minor problems on software that use the BT name for something, read bitdo BT dongle didn't work after the update and they are working on a solution.
