In EAC-CPF, the element <placeEntry> currently comes with the optional attributes accuracy, altitude, latitude and longitude. The equivalent element in EAD3, <geogname>, does not include these attributes (or similar ones). It comes, however, with the subelement <geographiccoordinates> that is meant "to express a set of geographic coordinates such as latitude, longitude, and altitude representing a point, line, or area on the surface of the earth".

Hence, the suggestion would be to add the attributes accuracy, altitude, latitude and longitude as optional attributes to <geographiccoordinates>.
