Please use Crowdin to translare SMParts. A page for translating settings will be added to Crowdin soon.

If you want a manual(advanced) way just keep reading.

Translating missing strings for your localization or adding a new one is very simple.

First - get know to those links:

http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/resources/localization.html#creating-alternatives

and

http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/resources/providing-resources.html#AlternativeResources

All you need to focus is /res/values-[q]/ .xml files of project you'd like to localize.

If there is already existing localization - just change or add missing strings in values-[q]/. You can find original strings (in english) always in values/.

If you want to add new localization - copy values/ folder and rename it to values-[q]/ and make your translation.

[q] is quantifier specifying your language. It is defined by ISO 639-1 and you can find it here. Mostly it's what you already know.

After you make translation - use Tutorial: how to collaborate to send us your translation or just send ready .xml files to one of the developers (f.e. cadavre).
