Jernej Kavka commented on Disqus at July 30 2021, 08:44 This is a great rule and believe we should follow it on all rules. It makes people more accountable (every can see you haven't action your tasks), easier to flesh out details (we can easily add, update or remove details for the task) and allows better delegation of work (original person is not available or is overloaded). In some cases, we do need to have traceability of decisions and Wikis are great way to achieve that, which accessible to everyone in the team, rather than just the people that worked on the project at the time. In short, it's fine to use emails as "Just fyi, this happened" notifications but real data and real actions should be somewhere else. |

Chris Clement commented on Disqus at July 30 2021, 09:24 Love this rule! I like the last one the most - summarise the meeting at the end and re-iterate what are the action plans from the meeting. Additionally, we can also put the action items in writing for traceability as said by JK. |
