Incorrect file names after install

After command make install files have incorrect extensions.
In directory /usr/local/etc/airt/
Must have: *.conf, *.cfg, *.plib
Have: *.dist

In directory /usr/local/shre/airt/php
Must have: airt-style.css
Have: airt-style.css.dist

Thanks, I think this is intentional as not to overwrite local configs or changes when running make install. Maybe the documentation should be updated to reflect this.
