Making progress! I got all the way through one full turn of the 2P game. Minor comments:

  • The debate display will show a debater on his uncommitted side even if they're currently committed--but the number of dice rolled is correct.
  • Setup is much closer to correct--the only outstanding errors are 3 regulars in Antwerp (should be 1), and 2 squadrons in Naples (should be 1). I would also drop the Ottoman-Hungary and Hapsburg-France at war markers.

Into Turn 2, I note the following after diplomacy card plays of French Invasion and Andrea Doria (which gave France control of Genoa):

  • When the Protestant chooses which French troops to move, all the 1-unit counters in France are given as options, but those are all immobile by definition in the 2P game.
  • The Papacy played the Master of Italy recurring mandatory event and it seemed to hang the game--after using the CP, the Protestant player only sees an "acknowledged..." prompt with nothing clickable in it, so they can't get back to seeing their cards. Not sure what happened here, perhaps it got fouled up by thinking France earned 1 card draw due to holding Milan and Genoa, but that wouldn't be the case in 2P because they aren't a player-controlled "full" power in this variant and have no hand.

Getting these fixed. Thx for the help as always.

It'll likely take a day or two until we get the version on staging updated.
