Dear Samweli
A warm thanks for the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=thBKETlQbqY. I ave some issues regarding isochromes. Please help me out:dfd

  1. I'm not sure why I cant import shp to my SQL database - I think that the data are not corectly prepared. Can you help me somehow?

Hi @rkamnik,

Thanks for your feedback!

  1. This can happen if the database doesn't have the postgis extension, so you have to make sure postgis is installed and you create its extension in the database.

If you want me to help you out on setting up the database and data before you use the plugin, just reach me out through my email.

  2. Inside "id" there should be any type of identifier that will be unique, "geom" is the geometry column for the table, you wont need to edit any data on this field, it is auto generated when importing shapefile to the database.

  3. You can find the sample data I used on the video here https://github.com/Samweli/isochrones/tree/master/iso/test/data, the point layer is inside catchment folder with filename hospitals and network layer inside network folder with filename roads.

Best.
