Should include great/top gists, social proof (number of users, group of gravatar faces, recent activity)

Some copy changes need to be done too:

The search field should say: "Search papers by title, DOI, or tag" or something a bit more clear. Should we also explain what a DOI is?

"ScienceGist's goal is to provide understanding of science for everyone." Rephrase slightly, perhaps.
