I have the text dropping to the bottom, and the image using as much room as it can. with text dropping to the bottom, it looks weird on most pages being so close to the footer (we could define a border or some horizontal rule that gets put at the top of the footer)

It also looks weird where there is very little text on the page (pg 10 and 11)

is there a preferred resolution?
