Hi,

I just wanted to raise awareness regarding the upcoming Sparkplug 4.0 specification mentioned here: eclipse-sparkplug/sparkplug#453 (comment)

I don't know much about the new spec version apart from more Protobuf types being used for transporting payloads to combat value conversions for signed numeric types.

I have asked the sparkplug guys to get an ETA on version 4. Version 3 seems a bit premature when handking the data types if you ask me...
