Introduce functionality to record parser usage analytics to determine parser usage trends and provide data to justifying parser management and retirement when relevant

Storing it on the parser record would be better as there is a table cleaner that removes chats after a fairly short window.

Thank you for the suggestion! I don’t have experience with Performance Analytics in ServiceNow yet, but I’ll make sure to learn how to implement it and find a solution in the future. I want it to be historical data, so that it can can be analyzed based on date range. Incrementing the count in parser record would not do any justice.

I think the idea is to let PA handle the historical usage info. A daily collection job should grab all parser usages "created on yesterday" with a breakdown on the parser used.
