Hey,

I installed the newest jmapmyldap and configured it well (I guess).
When I debug it shows me all information from my test user Account from my Active Directory. But the user can't login to Joomla. No error nothing is shown in the frontend.
Can you help me please?

My System:

  • Joomla 3.5.1
  • JMapMyLDAP v2
  • Windows Server 2012 R2 Datacenter
  • MS Active Directory

Many Thank's

Dennis

With Microsoft Active Directory, "Domain Users" is a special group will not be able to reference via Common Name (CN). Make sure to look up the default ID Microsoft assigns to it and look it up that way.

I ran into the same issue at work and it took me a few days to find the solution.

Hey,

Thanks for the Answer. What do you mean with default ID and where can I
find it?
I still run into this issue. I Use the following config:

Porxy User:
CN=ldap-connect,OU=WebApps-ServiceAccounts,OU=WebApps,DC=radio-plattenkueche,DC=de
Base DN: DC=radio-plattenkueche,DC=de
User DN / Filter: (sAMAccountName=[username])
Map User ID: sAMAccountName
Password attribute: unicodePwd
Password Hash: unicode
All User Filter: (objectClass=person)

Thanks again for your help

best regards

You still have this problem?
If so what is the configuration you use?
