[react-i18n] Crash on Short Currencies in English Arabic Locales

Overview

The Shopify Mobile app is seeing crashes with the error Number input in locale en-EG is currently not supported. from React-i18n. This error has only been seen on short currency formatted strings, in both hardcoded data and in user input fields.

This error occurs on certain phone manufacturers which have additional locales for English in Arabic speaking countries. We see crashes for these locales en-EG, en-EA, en-AG, en-OM, en-PS, en-MM, en-IQ, en-SA, en-AW, with potentially a few more, as not all Arabic speaking locales are in this list.
