Changing the HDLethalCompany.cfg doesn't do anything

I installed the mod with r2modman (on Linux) since I couldn't really get mods to work when installing them on the game's root.

After messing with the settings a bunch, I noticed that the FPS would stay the same regardless of what I changed, and while I don't have any logs (I don't know where they are) to guarantee that the settings are actually not changing, I did change the "Resolution Scale Multiplier" to 0.005. In theory I should only be able to see a single pixel on screen while playing, but the picture was just as crisp as with default settings (2.233).

The mod IS loading, since performance is worse when running with the mod enabled compared to running vanilla (and the image quality is better too). It's just the config file that isn't loading, or maybe it is, and it's just using the default values anyway.

Mod version is 1.5.2.

Try using BepInEx Config Manager and see if setting config ingame helps.

That actually worked!

When I opened the menu the settings were the default ones though, so it is not loading the file, as I suspected. But once I changed them in the menu and restarted the game, they worked properly.
