Description

Bitwarden does not get URL of website, it gets "androidapp://net.slions.fulguris.full.fdroid" URI instead.

Environment

  • Device: POCO X3 NFC
  • OS: Android 14, CrDroid with MicroG, KernelSU
  • Version: 1.9.30 from F-Droid

To reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

Everytime you want to save or get some login information from Bitwarden it gets "androidapp://net.slions.fulguris.full.fdroid" URI instead of proper website URL.

Example:

  1. Autofill should be enabled for Bitwarden.
  2. Go to some login page(I tested with github)
  3. Click on password or login line multiple times
  4. Wait until keyboard suggests Bitwarden and open it, Bitwarden will search for logins for "androidapp://net.slions.fulguris.full.fdroid" URI and if you create new login it will have that URI but will not have website URL.

Expected behaviour

Bitwarden should get URL of website instead of URI of Fulguris Android app. For example "login.example.com"
instead of "androidapp://net.slions.fulguris.full.fdroid".

Additional context

Bitwarden and Fulguris are installed from F-Droid. Bitwarden Autofill works perfectly fine for Mull(Firefox) on Android

I believe this is an issue with Bitwarden (edit: and WebView maybe?). The same issue occurs with FOSS Browser, but it works fine with, for example, Keyguard (an alternative Bitwarden app).

I'm observing the same behavior in a Fairphone5 running murenaOS. The Bitwarden app does not capture the correct URL
