I can take a look, but unlike Twitter/X I don't believe there's any kind of workaround API like fxtwitter or vxtwitter, so this might either be very hacky or not possible without something like that.
I've implemented the "unmangling" of the reddit.com/media links into SaucyBot now.
I'll investigate at a later date of how to do video embeds, my current idea is potentially using youtube-dl or looking at how youtube-dl does it and implement that.
Would mainly match v.redd.it URLs, but might also work with regular reddit links.
From what I know about this the problem is reddit stores the audio and video as separate files, so to property support this you'd need to remux the files before uploading it to discord.
This is why https://rxddit.com will properly embed video but it will never have audio.
