We used to make things out of stone, plants, hair, leather, and bones. We’ve added many minerals, petroleum, and gases. They can run out in about a century. It’s difficult to predict how much we’re going to use when. We can try to write some equations, but life includes more than mathematics.
We make boxes (buildings, furniture, machines, containers), covers, sticks. (I’ve seen people e.g. in Asia eat and sleep on the floor. Others leg boards.)
We keep most things in buildings. When one is not farming, mining, maintaining a network, or walking, one is probably in a box. Beside the many hours we spend in our houses, we spend time in vehicles, public buildings, factories, warehouses, etc.
We make these tools to manage resources together and to manage our relationships, e.g. public houses for entertainment. Computers are the best tool for data management. The quality of data management seems higher than ever and has not peaked.
What benefits do you want that are related to some product?
