Site is slow #153
Comments
I have the same issue. About 5 seconds after I hit enter before I get a result. |
+1. For some this is the first introduction to Ruby, and they should not get a slow response in their first hands on experience. |
I think it is slow too, but I am on a Windows 7 box, running Chrome. Perhaps Windows 7's slowness is affecting the site? |
Also slow for me. This is server-related, not client. |
I am having the same experience, 2-5 seconds wait after I press enter. Mac OSX 10.6, Chrome 14.0 thanks for the tool though, I was linked through from Rails for Zombies |
This is much faster now that codeschool has taken over the site. |
bah, just tried this out.. 15 mins to do the first set of tuts is more like an hour due to the site responding so slowly (on any browser). |
Same here, took me more than 30mins and I'm at 50%! |
still slow on the first tutorial in tryruby.org |
+1 also still slow. Typing |
slow for me as well...having to refresh the site every 1-2 pages |
Still slow 2015 👎 |
6 years later, this site is still incredibly slow. What a turn off. I dread hitting enter because there's a 50% chance I'm stuck and will have to refresh. (restarting the challenge) |
I was just trying to show Try Ruby to some beginners and it's responding really slow. Can you give it a kick?
