Steps to reproduce the bug

1. Mesargus albomaculatus (Li, 1989) exists(https://hoppers.speciesfile.org/otus/48467/overview), but the genus Mesargus page (https://hoppers.speciesfile.org/otus/48461/overview) fails to show the species.

species name is not valid, the genus page include only the list of valid species.

I'm wondering whether the homonym is applied when the spelling of the name is different by one letter "o" and "i", i.e., "albo-" and "albi-". If so, the species needs a new name. But, although the name is invalid due to the homonymy, the species itself is still valid, and so it is required to be displayed (with some marks, etc.), in the genus page until a substitute name is established.

Please check the ICZN Art. 58.12 for homonymy in species-group names:
https://code.iczn.org/homonymy/article-58-variant-spellings-of-species-group-names-deemed-to-be-identical/?frame=1
There is no valid and invalid species. There are valid and invalid names. I do not say that the name should or should not be displayed. For me, it is a good notification that something is wrong with the name.

Thank you for the links. I just wish that what the name, which was invalidated due to the homonymy but has no substitute name, refers to can be informed for others in the genus page.
