Quantifying the qualitative impact nonprofits create is a huge challenge, but projects that crack this nut will unlock incredible opportunities to change the way society coordinates around public goods. Is your project on that path? How do we measure and track the impact of free addiction counseling, planting a tree, or fixing a pothole?
The Ethereum community has produced several open source tools that do this:
Quadratic Funding
Praise
Hypercerts
Pairwise
Conviction Voting
And more!
Integrating these techniques in a creative way that quantifies a social impact that was before qualitative will be enough to qualify for this bounty, but the project that wins this bounty will likely go above and beyond that. There is a lot of interesting research in the resources section that may give you hints on how to address this bounty in a more novel way, potentially even creating a new mechanism.
Acceptance Criteria 🏁
Must output a quantifiable impact measurement for a qualitative impact, an NFT Badge is not enough, unless it is in some way quantifiable/rankable/measurable.
Just tracking an already straight forward quantifiable metric will not be enough to qualify for this bounty.
Must integrate web3 into the solution Nice to have
Integrate other known coordination mechanisms, like Quadratic Funding, Praise, Hypercerts, Pairwise or ideally, create a new one ;-D
