It would be great if providers other than Github (Gitlab, Gitea, etc.) were supported such that one could manage all repositories in one place.

I understand that this extension is called GitHub Repository Manager - however, I could not find any comparable extension(s) for other providers, so it could make sense to extend the scope of this project.

Hi, @bachorp!

Sorry, but unless you are willing to make a PR to implement it, I won't be doing it by myself. This unfortunately is not a popular extension and it wouldn't make sense to me to put effort into this feature as it wouldn't be useful to me.

I hope you understand my side but still, thanks for the suggestion! It's a valid one!

Hi @SrBrahma! I totally understand! I might actually be able to work on that myself, but won't promise until I sit down and code..

I think that a good visual (and lightweight) git repositories manager is really missing (the best other thing I could find is Git Repository Manager). Not even commercial git clients such as GitKraken seem to have that functionality. Right now there's too much organizing your folders, clicking through web pages, and copy-pasting URLs.

This will be helpful to you: https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/editor_extensions/visual_studio_code/#set-up-the-gitlab-workflow-extension. I don't believe it will end up being a very hard thing to do; should be a cool challenge!
