This is from plex. Imo the best solution would be to create a filter for online or in-person (I think that's what this issue is about?)

update: for now, let's use a filter to do this

later, let's make two different pages

I've added the filter to the UI but getting it to be actually functional is proving to be a wild goose chase. I think the solution is to set up an Airtable automation for the Communities table which updates the record in a new "Online or In-person" column to say either "online" or "in-person", depending on what is listed in the Platform column. Then somehow connecting the filter I made to that column in the CMS collection. @soerenelverlin do you know how to do this?

Notes for if/when we build a separate page for local groups:

  • Clicking the card should go to that group's website.
  • Should also have a map up top instead of featured cards.
  • One challenge will be where to put groups on the map that are associated with a country(ies) instead of a city (e.g. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1099249420923957/)
