Hi Folks,
I have a Meade ETX-90 telescope and got an autofi controller for it to try to control the scope remotely from my W11 PC.
I setup the scope with the autofi connected.
I connect my wifi to the autofi controller.
Per the autofi website I use the HW Virtual Server Port s/w to associate port COM3 to the autofi IP address.
Inside of Stellarium I set up the telescope as:
Telescope controlled by: Stellarium directly through a serial port
Device Settings:
Serial Port: COM3
Device Model: Meade Autostar Compatible (also tried LX200 compatible)
Connection Delay: .50s (default)
Coordinate System: J2000 (default, vs Equinox of the date (jNow))
But I cannot seem to get Stellarium to talk correctly to the telescope as the Sync button or selecting an object and trying to get the telescope to point to the object do not work.
There seems to be some communications going on as the HW Virtual Serial Port app seems to show data being transmitted.
