How to mitigate process variation between fixed and moving image , while doing itk::ElastixRegistrationMethod using elastix-ITK c++ code? #1080

Hi All,
I am trying to do registration using itk::ElastixRegistrationMethod ->updateLargestPossibleregion() which uses fixed and moving image as major input parameters.
Fixed and moving image has significant amount of process variation. as shown in the attached sample Image, i cannot share original image. When plotting contour of the result image after registration on the fixed image it is not properly placed on the edge of fixed image. can any one suggest which parameters i need to tune to get correct result.
