How does clogging the block help?

The basis of this bot to work is that it cloggs the block as soon as the LP is added. How will that even matter if the txns are sorted on basis of the time at which they originate? So anyone who listens to the LP add event first, and sends the swap first, with the same gas fee, would always be able to snipe first.

Any comments on this @Supercycled @saantiaguilera?

Why do you think the author released the code publicly? It hasn't worked for a while spamming txs after the pending one is detected.

Still, since this is not arbitrage or liquidations; sniping without clogging in your own node should still yield profitable results, given that now everyone is under the """same""" conditions (you just need to scale vertically).
You may get other bots sniping before you but if your node performs well and the bot too, you may still be able to snipe in a high p99

Again, you're very far from the truth. A select few have the control of the "reach first to the validator" and has been like this for a while now. Either you're the first (possibly second) to get in or there's no profit to be made.

Simply follow some hyped launches and mark the ones that get in first. Rinse and repeat. You'll see the same ones always getting in first.

That's a different technique than the clog one, you'll need to figure it out what they are doing to understand the reasoning behind.

where do you run your full node? any suggestions for the location? Have tried a couple of locations but no deterministic results.

As of geth 1.10 clogging the mempool is no longer reliable (and hence useless). Once all miners are using >1.10 on your EVM then clogging only wastes gas.
