When I restart my TV, the video capture only starts working after I open PicCap, change a setting (e.g. the resolution) and save it. If I don't do that only UI gets captures (the WebOS menu or YouTube menu for example). Enabling/disabling QuickStart+ does not make any difference.
TV Model: 55SM8500
Software Version: 5.30.25

Having the exact same issue. It's, most of the time, fixed after restarting the service altogether in Piccap.
When disabling Quickstart+ I receive a toast notification that the system entered failsafe mode. Before the HBC update, disabling Quickstart+ worked and Piccap did what it had to do...
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Same here, after TV starts, Piccap seems not to be autostarted. Just after manually opening it the autostart is triggered immediately.
