Items change order in dynamic grid on item height change

I have masonry like grid with accordion items and those items have dynamic heights.
When I open/close one of the items, the rest of them change their order and moves between columns
Is there any way to persist their position and just add items only for affected column?

the only way I found to imitate such behaviour is to manually split data array into N columns, where each column will have it's own virtualizer instance, so it will basically be combination of N dynamic lists to visually imitate grid
